BAP Articles

For the last decade, the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) has published one of the profession's most impressive publications-Business Appraisal Practice (BAP).

This comprehensive and practical, quarterly publication, which is definitely on par with the ASA's revered quarterly-Business Valuation Review, was previously only available to the IBA membership, and thus relatively unknown to the valuation community at large. In my opinion, every practitioner should subscribe to this gem. Every issue offers multiple articles, ones you want to keep close at hand for future authoritative reference.

Here is what some of your colleagues have to say about BAP:

"The quality of the articles in BAP are always excellent, on a variety of timely topics and written by some of the top people in the profession."
-Russell T. Glazer, MBA, CPA/ABV, CBA, CVA, AM
Northport, NY

"As a prolific writer and reader of all topics business valuation for almost two decades, IBA has one of the most in-depth bodies of knowledge in its BAP publication library/program shared by some of the greatest minds in the business. No true BV professional should exclude adding these authoritative treatises to their own library."
-Carl L. Sheeler, PhD, AVA, CBA
San Diego, CA

"BAP focuses on hands-on appraisal issues including thoughts and comments on practical issues encountered by business appraisers regularly in their practice instead of theoretical articles written by and of interest only to academics."
-Paul Hyde, MCBA, BVAL, ASA, MAI
Parma, ID

"Business Appraisal Practice is required reading for financial valuators with its in-depth analysis of theory/methodology and emerging theory/methodology."
-Laura J. Tindall, CPA, CVA, MCBA, BVAL
Loxahatchee, FL
