Business valuation is a specialized field requiring a solid foundation of experience,
ongoing education, and a high level of professional integrity. As a result, qualified
practitioners of the specialty of business valuation command premium rates and experience
almost unlimited growth potential. Experts predict that the business appraisal market
is poised for tremendous growth due to a number of factors. These include the current
proliferation of business start-ups, acquisitions and sales, combined with an increase
in litigation involving shareholder disputes, divorce, business damages and estate

Membership in The Institute of Business Appraisers is open to anyone with an interest
in the field who agrees to observe the Institute's Code of Ethics
and to follow the Institute's standards of business appraisal practice.

member you will receive a Membership Certificate, a copy of the Code of Ethics
(both suitable for framing and display in your office) and a copy of the IBA
