Teleconference education:
knowledge how you need it, where you need it, when you need it
In response to member requests for interactive education without travel costs and
with fewer work disruptions, IBA has three teleconference education
series. Technophobes, have no fear: all you need is a phone line. Materials will be
sent to registrants by electronic file or fax; no worries about band width or media
streaming. Hour-long sessions are approved for CPE credit, and three education series
will provide timely information on technical developments, risk management, and practice
expansion ideas you can use now. Join in!
Whether your goal is to fill your knowledge gaps, expand your practice to a new area,
limit your risk or finally submit your work product for designation peer review,
getting smart has never been more easy or convenient.
1. The Litigation Support Series is for practitioners in the high-impact, high-risk arena preparing appraisal
reports for court presentation. Weekly sessions go in-depth on the issues and
challenges of litigation support.
2. Transaction Data looks at transaction data through the eyes of those who -literally- wrote the book
3. Expert of the Month explores ethical dilemmas, compliance with standards, and avoiding the pitfalls hidden
in every assignment by discussing common errors—avoiding them and recognizing them in
others’ work. Each month, a seasoned practitioner shares the lessons of a lifetime.
If you miss a session, audio materials will be available—a great chance to expand your library with practical material. Multi-session and member pricing have been developed with practitioner budgets in mind. Calls begin 1pm Eastern time every Wednesday — seminar materials are sent 1 week prior to
session via email or fax. If more than one person in your firm would like to
participate, add them on the same phone line for an additional $30 (includes CPE credit) All sessions are approved for one hour CPE credit: Intermediate-Advanced Level
